We are excited to invite you to participate in the RoboCup 2025 Soccer Simulation 2D League competition, which will take place from July 15 to July 21, 2025, in Salvador, Brazil.

The RoboCup Soccer Simulation 2D League is one of the oldest and most prestigious RoboCup Soccer competitions. It utilizes the RoboCup Soccer Simulator, enabling two teams of 11 simulated autonomous robots plus an autonomous coach agent to engage in realistic soccer matches. Due to its stability and robustness, this simulator serves as an exceptional research and educational platform for advancements in multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Qualification Process
- Evaluation: Based on the quality of the TDP and the team's performance as demonstrated by the submitted log files.
- Review: TDPs will be peer-reviewed by experts in the 2D RoboCup Simulation League.
- Notification: Teams will be informed of their qualification status by March 16 – 23:59 UTC.
Rules and Regulations
- One-Team-Per-One-Person Rule: Each participant can belong to only one team.
- Plagiarism Penalty: Strict penalties for any form of plagiarism, including disqualification and bans.
- No-Show Penalty: Teams must cancel participation if unable to compete; failure to do so results in bans.
- Academic Fairness: All teams must adhere to academic integrity standards.
Automatic Qualification
- Top Four Teams from RoboCup 2024: HELIOS2024, CYRUS, YuShan2024, FRA-UNIted
